Tree Removal in Davenport, IA

We were extremely impressed with how quickly and efficiently Dittmer Tree Service came through and trimmed a tree in our backyard. It was quite large and starting to overshadow our neighbors yards to the point where we worried it may cause damage in a storm or by weight alone. They came in, trimmed it safely using ropes and saws, got all of the dead limbs out, and then cleaned up so immaculately that you couldn't tell they had even been in yard. Really nice folks, too, happy to answer questions or tell you what they were doing next in the process. And of course, the tree looks great! Would recommend!

We are BEYOND happy with Dittmer Tree Service! We had 2 very tall maple trees in our backyard (which was a tight fit) and they were here for early, ready to go. All 4 guys were super personable and nice, very professional and obviously a crew that works well together because they had a routine and didn’t miss a beat as to who was doing what and when. It was an all day job and they were amazing!! Clean up was spotless when they left. If I had any more trees I would all them without hesitation!! 10 out 10 recommend Dittmer Tree Service!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dittmer Tree Service was absolutely AMAZING!!! They were here bright and early for a big job of 2 very large maple trees, the crew of 4 were so professional, very nice and super efficient! The crew did a great job cutting the trees and cleaning everything up.

Ditter Tree Service did an amazing job at removing several trees and trimming the rest in my yard. Everyone was kind at explaining the process. The clean up during the process was absolute perfection. Highly recommend.

I enthusiastically recommend Dittmer Tree Service. Sean showed up and gave me a very competitive quote. Patricia handled the scheduling and the necessary power drop. Sean and crew arrived exactly on time and in less than 45 minutes of setup they were at work on the tree. His crew were very hard workers, and in conversation with the members, they actually like and praised their boss. The work was completed on time and clean up was fabulous. I’ll have some trimming done in the next year or so, and Dittmer Tree Service will be at the top of my list to call!

After researching and meeting with several tree cutting services, and there were many reputable and excellent companies last yea for trimming several trees and bringing down yet another, we settled on Dittmer's Tree Services. Now, looking back we had an altogether pleasant experiences. Shawn Dittmer came out and did the cutting, double checking with exact cuts and demonstrating expertise and professionalism that seemed beyond the call of duty. And each young man on his team were helpful, having questions answered, and diligent in helping Shawn. They moved items that might suffer damage before and then re--placed them when they were finished. And ever limb and was completely removed when the day was done. Plan on using them either this year or the next. i highly recommend them..

Excellent service and a very polite crew. Dittmer tree service tackled a large oak tree in my backyard that was too close to my house for my comfort, the tree was 3ft thick at the base and at least 50ft tall. They did so with care, no damage to my house or surroundings. Tree was taken down and all debris were hauled away for a very respectable price. The machine they use is cool and a perfect machine for the job, it can move through small openings to the job they are doing. I will be needing their service again in the early winter to trim 2 more oak trees in our front yard.

We had our landscaping updated late fall in 2025. Dittmer Tree Service removed and/or trimmed all of the trees on our property. They did a great job. We’ve had so many comments from friends and neighbors who said that trimming the trees made the biggest change of everything we did! And the Dittmer workers were so considerate of us while they were working on our property. Very polite. And very professional. We will use they again.
